Export Tab
How to export generated content from MerchantDrafts.
What It Does
The Export tab gives you a Markdown-style export of the current MerchantDrafts output.
It is meant for copying or downloading structured output for use outside the live WooCommerce editor.
What It Includes
The export view is built from the current generated data and can include:
- long description
- short description
- meta description
- image fields
- Merchant Center scene prompts
- social hashtags
- Google Merchant Center output when present
What It Is For
Use the Export tab when you want to:
- copy the current generated package into another tool
- keep a structured output snapshot
- review everything in one text-oriented format
- move content into documentation, briefs, or external workflows
What It Is Not
- It is not the main review surface for product-field writing.
- It does not write anything into WooCommerce by itself.
- It does not replace Write to Product or WordPress Update.
Safe Mental Model
- Content / Images / Marketing Material tabs = review and work inside MerchantDrafts
- Export tab = package the current output in a reusable text format
